X-Newsreader: TIN [UNIX 1.3 950515BETA PL0] The photographer stands in the center of a dark, echoing concourse, camera aimed upwards at the B-52 mounted overhead. Its propellers - some of them - turn slowly, fans that stir the smoky air. He's searching for the same combination of stance, sunlight and angle that for a brief flash revealed, to him alone, a female figure cast in green light, supporting the wires and struts of an engine nacelle: a caryatid in the wings. He missed his first and so far only opportunity to take her picture, shoved aside by the crowds moving through the concourse. But he keeps trying. -- Alan P.
