			Things to do

Wash the stove
I dig out the stove grates, put them in the sink
with some Lemon Liquid Detergent and some
Citrus Solution (Orange Oil)
Add hot water and watch it
roil and bubble ominously.

I think:  What will this Witches' Brew do?
Will it geyser and shoot to the ceiling?
Will it explode suddenly in a burst of
wrought iron shards and glowing slime?
Will the shards pin me through the throat 
to the freezer door?  
Will they catch my daughter unawares as 
she comes to see what's happened and, spinning,
shear off the top of her little head?

Or will it sit there roiling and bubbling ominously
until my imagination cools down?
