(I'm sure you're all thrilled.)
I had a darkroom in high school, but we're now on a septic tank so I
can't set up again. Does anyone have any solutions to being on a tank with
a DR? I'd love to get back to it one day, but around here it's almost all
septic systems. I'd love suggestions as to what likely places could offer
DR space (Local High Schools? I'm not sure our local HS has the funding to
support a DR. Colleges?). I finally scanned in some of my pix, but they're
not webbed in yet. I used to be able to have much more fun with the
photographic process, since I could do the whole thing from image to
neg to print and there's a lot of control over the resulting image if
you have darkroom access. I'm perrennially jealous of Ansel Adams in
at least that regard. I have a few faves of my own fledgling work,
though. High contrast images were a favorite theme during most of my
darkroom days, which now shows up in my quilt designing instead.
